Aditi Joshi - IVF Subcutaneous injection for conception

Aditi Joshi is a 31-year-old beautiful, slim and a very soft spoken woman. Aditi got married at the age of 25 and since then both she and her husband have been trying to have a child, but in vain. They lived in the US for 5 years soon after marriage. Aditi said that they tried hard to get pregnant but could not. Aditi is a housewife.

Thus, they both came to India to get an IVF. Both she and her husband consulted me and I had referred them to a colleague of mine who is an IVF expert. Aditi and her husband live in the same high-rise where I have my clinic. Thus, Aditi has been consulting me for any gynaec issues and keeps me informed of her IVF, as well. Even I keep on asking about her progress, or any issues.

It is common for couples going into IVF to get these injections at home. The husband commonly learns to administer the injections to his wife, since there are many injections that have to be taken over the period of IVF. But Aditi's husband is not comfortable doing injections, this is the reason Aditi comes to my clinic to get her injections, also its convenient for her to just come down to my clinic to get an inject, when her husband is away to work. 

She has to take IVF injections to stimulate ovulation.

Aditi was wearing a sheer pink coloured sleeveless short kurti and red leggings that was hugging her figure. She was looking beautiful as always. 

Aditi (very softly): Hello madam.

Me: Hello Aditi, how are you doing.

Aditi: Good madam, thanks

Me: Injection laaye ho na? (you got the injection?)

Aditi: Haan

Aditi handed over a vial to me, I took the vial, prepared the injection, while Aditi sat on the examination table with one thigh on another. Her figure is really good and she has a slim but nice shaped body. She was a bit pensive when I was preparing the injection.

Once I prepared injection, I turned to her with injection and cotton swab

Me: Lie down on the table and lift up your dress

Aditi lied on the the table facing upwards and lifted her kurti revealing her very fair trimmed abdomen and navel.

IVF injections are usually given in the lower abdomen and are subcutaneous.

I cleansed a part of her lower abdomen with cold spirit on cotton. Aditi was a bit tense. I told her to relax

I then very slowly pierced the needle into her abdomen muscle at a 45 degree angle. Aditi, flinched her abdomen a bit and let out a faint sigh: Uuii !

Me: Relax karo, dont move

I pushed the medicine, took out the needle and cleaned the injection site. Aditi slowly pulled her kurti back and got up, and gave me a sweet smile while sitting on the table.

Aditi: Thank you, agle injection ke liye aaungi phir se aapke pass

Me: Anytime dear, its always a pleasure to see you

Aditi again gave a very sweet smile and walked out of the clinic.
